Forest Animals

This week we learned all about forest animals. We made mice after reading one of my favorite books, Mouse’s First Fall.

We also made paper bag owls. The kids really enjoyed learning how forest animals differ from farm and zoo animals.

On Thursday, we will make footprint cardinals and learn about their natural habitat.

In Science, the kids looked so cute dressed up as super heroes for Mr. Freeze (A.K.A) Mr. Greg. He did some great activities involving dry ice, baking soda, and water (always a big hit with the kids!)

In Jewish studies, we are reading the Torah and learning about Sarah & Abraham. Robyn & Michelle do a great job teaching the children!

A BIG THANKS for dressing your little one in ORANGE, the color of the month! We had so much fun finding all the orange items in our classroom!

We also made pumpkin pudding for our cooking project. It was a success!
