Happy Purim!

Ms. Betty and I hope you all had a fun and festive Purim!  We enjoyed seeing so many of you at the school carnival and hoped you enjoyed some of the other activities that the Galinsky Academy/PTA and JJC sponsored.  We loved seeing so many creative costumes and we had so much fun getting ready for the holiday in our class.

We made masks!!

We are especially grateful to Ms. Janet!  She let us borrow some of her Purim play props.  We used masks, finger puppets, and we even made our own stick puppets so that the kids could show you all of their wonderful Purim knowledge at home.

And we made a few different types of groggers to go along with our plays!  There wasn’t a quiet spot in our room when someone would hear the name ‘Haman’!

We all had a great time dressing up and having Jewish studies together with the whole preschool to celebrate Purim.  We had a Purim themed sing-along and had a great time seeing everyone in costume!

We also let the kids make Mishloach manot bags for their friends!  We used small cartons and set up an assembly line where the kids could put in a drink, snack, and special treat and then put it into a friend’s cubby.  All of them enjoyed doing something nice for each other!
