Yom Ha’atzmaut

I have learned throughout the last year that if two and three year olds love *anything* they love birthdays and they love independence! 🙂

 

This week we celebrated Yom Ha’atzmaut.  Many of our students wore blue and white, and in our class we made flags for Israel.  The school provided us with tasty treats to celebrate, and in Jewish studies we took a ‘flight’ to Israel!  We learned all about many of the customs of Israel and about some of the different foods they eat there.  We also learned a few new words in Hebrew and tried to really appreciate Israel.  Here are a few photos from our wonderful celebration…
